Precision CNC & Manual Machining

Custom machining of all metals and plastics — from single prototypes to full production runs. Built to your exact specifications by Red Seal certified machinists.

What is CNC & Manual Machining?

CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and manual machining are the core manufacturing processes used to shape metal and plastic into precision components. CNC machining uses computer-programmed toolpaths for repeatable accuracy on complex geometries, while manual machining provides hands-on flexibility for one-off parts, prototypes, and quick-turnaround jobs.

At RPM Machining Ltd., we operate both CNC and manual equipment — giving us the versatility to handle any job, from a single replacement bushing to a full production run of precision-engineered components. We work with all metals (steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, and more) as well as various engineering plastics.

Our Process

1

Consultation & Quoting

Send us your drawings, specs, CAD files, or even a physical sample. We'll review your requirements and provide a detailed quote — typically within 48 hours.

2

Material Sourcing

We source the right material for your application, whether it's mild steel, stainless, aluminum, brass, or engineering plastic. If you supply material, we're happy to work with that too.

3

CNC or Manual Setup

Our machinists determine the optimal approach — CNC for complex geometries and production runs, manual for prototypes and one-offs — and set up the machines to your exact tolerances.

4

Precision Machining

Your parts are machined to specification with careful attention to tolerances, surface finish, and dimensional accuracy. Every step follows our ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures.

5

Inspection & Quality Control

Each component is inspected using precision measuring instruments to verify it meets your specifications before it leaves our shop.

6

Packaging & Delivery

Finished parts are cleaned, protected, and packaged for safe shipping anywhere in Canada — or available for local pickup at our Yorkton facility.

Common Questions

We routinely hold tight tolerances on precision CNC work. Exact capabilities depend on the geometry, material, and feature size — we'll discuss feasibility during the quoting process.

Yes. We machine a range of engineering plastics in addition to all common metals. Send us your specs and we'll confirm we can work with your chosen material.

Both. Our combination of CNC and manual equipment means we can efficiently produce single prototypes or scale up to full production volumes.
